Beware of Scammers and Fraudsters
Scammers and hackers are very active right now. Unfortunately, they are preying on peoples' fear to let their guard down.
Trending schemes include phishing emails, disguising sale of COVID-19 resources and other Investment or charity plots, tricking people to send money by providing their account information.
As a reminder, we will NEVER call, text or email you asking for personal information, including: your password, social security number, user ID, PIN or any other confidential information.
If you encounter any suspicious activity, please contact Member Support to verify or report it.
While all Cabrillo branches are open and ready to serve you, some Shared Branches may be temporarily impacted due to COVID-19. Please visit the CO-OP Financial Services Branch Locator, for a list of available locations near you.
Remember, eBranch and our mobile app are always available to access your accounts while at home.
You can apply for and pay loans, complete a Skip-A-Payment (for eligible loans), deposit checks, send secure messages and more! Click here for more details, to enroll in eBranch, or download our mobile app.
If you need to make purchases at the store, remember you also have access to Apple Pay®, Google PayTM, and Samsung PayTM for a touch-less and secure purchase.

My team and I are meeting at least 2 times each day to monitor the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are evaluating its potential impact on our members, both in San Diego and around the country.
Our physical branches and eBranch remain open and fully staffed.
Our team stands ready to assist you!
We realize that school closures can have a financial impact, due to the possible necessity of childcare. And while government programs are being put into place, these things take time.

*Skipping your loan payment will lengthen the term of your loan and may reduce a claim on your GAP policy, if applicable. Interest continues to accrue during skipped payment. Federally insured by NCUA.
**We will be waiving the $1 non CO-OP ATM fee. You may still incur fees from the other ATM provider.

As the coronavirus continues to be front and center in everyone’s mind, we wanted to take this opportunity to reassure you that Cabrillo has emergency plans in place, in the event of a pandemic, or natural disaster.
We stand ready to support our members during difficult times.
1. Cabrillo has a comprehensive emergency plan. It is reviewed and updated regularly. The plan addresses both disasters AND pandemics.
Since a plan is only as good as the people who implement it, we have established a Crisis Management Team, that regularly holds “mock drills” to ensure that everyone is prepared when a real emergency strikes.
2. We have made a significant investment in our infrastructure, to provide redundancy. We built a network of safe sites, with locations around the country. In the event of an emergency or natural disaster in San Diego, our systems will automatically “cut over” to one of our other backup locations. This way we can continue to support you, even if a disaster strikes San Diego AND other areas around the country.
3. Employees in key positions have been equipped with the ability to work remotely, so they can continue to work, even if they can’t get to one of our office locations. And our electronic systems give you the ability to transfer money and pay bills, without having to leave your home.
The Cabrillo Credit Union Leadership team and Board of Directors have invested a lot of time, energy and resources to ensure that your money and personal information are safe and secure. Our strong investment to provide you support during a disaster or pandemic is part of our commitment to providing you with the best service possible.
In regards to Coronavirus COVID-19, if you visit our branches, please know that our branch teams are available to serve you, as always.
We've altered our daily cleaning procedures to more frequently disinfect high-touch surfaces and have made hand sanitizer readily available. We are also educating our branch teams on best practices recommended by the CDC.
Our hearts go out to the Coronavirus victims and their families. We sincerely hope that the situation is resolved quickly and that more lives aren’t lost.
