Cabrillo has opened an account to help David Amaya, the U.S. citizen who was picked up by Border Patrol agents from the Imperial Beach station. At the request of agents there we have opened an account to help Mr. Amaya reunite with his mother in time for the holidays. Cabrillo Credit Union has donated $250 to get him started. Donations can be made at any Cabrillo branch or by sending them directly to:

Cabrillo helped sponsor the 9th Annual Winter Slugfest Softball Tournament in Casa Grande, Arizona, November 1st & 2nd. The tournament played host to 20 teams of Border Patrol agents from California to Texas, providing a great opportunity to spread the word about Cabrillo Credit Union and everything we do to support agents and their families. Check out some of our pictures from the two-day event.

Cabrillo has received countless kind e-mails and phone calls thanking us for being there to meet their needs in the wake of the recent Government Shutdown. We just wanted to share one of those e-mails, which summarizes the gratitude we felt from our members. We sincerely appreciate our credit union members and it is an honor to serve you and to be there to make a difference in their lives.
