How to Switch Your Direct Deposit
You can switch your direct deposit in just a few minutes — all from your phone or computer.
- Log Into Digital Banking
Open the Cabrillo Mobile App or sign in through online banking on CabrilloCU.com.
- Click the three dot menu and choose "Direct Deposit”
Accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Next Manage your Direct Deposit by Linking Your Payroll Account
On the Link your payroll account screen, review the information and select Continue to start the secure connection with Atomic.
- Find Your Employer or Payroll Provider
Use the search bar to locate your employer or payroll provider (for example, ADP, Workday, or other services). Select the correct option to proceed.
- Sign In With Your Payroll Credentials
Enter your existing payroll login information to authorize the switch. This step securely connects Atomic to your payroll profile so it can update your direct deposit settings.
- Choose Where Your Paycheck Goes
Select the Cabrillo account where you want your paycheck deposited. You can:
- Send 100% of your paycheck to one account, or
- Allocate a portion to different Cabrillo accounts (for example, part to checking, part to savings).
- Confirm & Let Cabrillo's Digital Banking Handle the Rest
Review your selections, then confirm. Atomic will digitally notify your employer/payroll system of the change. You can expect your next paycheck(s) to be deposited into your new Cabrillo account setup.
What Happens Next?
Once your switch is confirmed, there’s nothing more you need to do. You’ll see your paycheck begin flowing into Cabrillo based on the schedule and allocation you selected. If you ever want to adjust where your pay goes, you can revisit the same Direct Deposit option in Digital Banking.
