Cabrillo Credit Union was proud to support the 14th Annual Summer Showdown, a weekend softball tournament held in Chula Vista that brought together U.S. Border Patrol stations from across San Diego County for a weekend of friendly competition, appreciation, and connection.
Hosted by Cabrillo Credit Union Board Member Dave Rodriguez, the annual tournament provides Border Patrol personnel with an opportunity to step away from their daily responsibilities, connect with colleagues from across the region, and enjoy a weekend dedicated to teamwork and community. As a longtime Select Employee Group (SEG) partner of the U.S. Border Patrol, Cabrillo was honored to sponsor a booth and participate in this meaningful event.
Building Relationships Through Community Engagement
Throughout the weekend, Cabrillo's Business Development team welcomed attendees at the Cabrillo booth, where they connected with Border Patrol employees, their families, and other community partners. The event created an opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, introduce prospective members to Cabrillo, and share how the credit union continues to support those who serve our communities.
Supporting events like the Summer Showdown reflects Cabrillo's commitment to building lasting relationships beyond the branch. Whether through community involvement, financial education, or personalized banking solutions, Cabrillo remains dedicated to enriching the lives of our member-owners and supporting the organizations that make our communities stronger.

Looking Ahead
Cabrillo Credit Union extends its appreciation to Dave Rodriguez and everyone involved in organizing another successful Summer Showdown. We are grateful for the opportunity to support our U.S. Border Patrol partners and look forward to continuing these meaningful relationships for years to come.
