Product Manager -

We are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking team player that will oversee all channels such as online, mobile banking, and the mobile wallet. The successful candidate will have experience with developing and implementing strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide recommendations on emerging trends, technologies, electronic platforms and potential partnerships that allow delivery of an enhanced member experience
  • Supporting the online banking and mobile channel and services such as bill payment, Person to Person Payments, and mobile deposit
  • Oversee design, planning, delivery, vendor management, measurements and optimization of digital and in-branch channels
  • Serve as an administrator for each channel
  • Coordinate projects and ensure deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with developers and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between factors such as cost, time to deliver, usability, system performance, and scalability
  • Participate in after-hours support rotation

Requirements

Accounting Manager -

Cabrillo Credit Union is looking for an Accounting Manager to be the primary contact for all accounting staff. The Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Day-to-day operations
  • Developing, maintaining and updating the Accounting department’s daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual activities with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Overseeing the departments procedures and recommending improvements.
  • Remain current with changes while implementing processes to streamline.
  • Consistently providing expert financial perspective and opinions in analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of ACH and drafts
  • Experience with credit union/banking accounting procedures required
  • Regulations affecting operations
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, and 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting position preferred.
  • CPA or CA certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years with management and statutory reporting,
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing accounting staff of 2 or more.
  • Expertise in financial guidelines and accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Experience using Corelation or Symitar is highly desirable.

This position will be located at our Admin building in Scripps Ranch, Monday-Friday. EOE. Following all CDC guidelines.

Loan Officer - 
Full-time position available in the Credit Union’s administrative office located in Scripps Ranch. Responsible for processing consumer loan applications, including interviewing, making decision recommendations, and funding. Qualified applicant will have 2 years+ consumer lending experience with lending authority, a thorough knowledge of lending regulations, solid sales skills, excellent people skills, ability to work at a fast pace, and be detail-oriented. HELOC, NMLS, Notary, and Mortgage experience a must. EOE

AVP Compliance & Risk Management -
The primary objective of the position is to develop and maintain a resilient control environment for the Credit Union.  The function will oversee regulatory compliance, internal audit and vendor management to minimize risk.  Thorough knowledge of depository financial services industry and developing and maintaining a compliance management program within the enterprise controls environment.  Must have working knowledge of applicable government regulations.  Minimum 5-10 years Credit Union/Banking Operations and Management experience.

The position will be responsible for the risk management framework for the enterprise that impacts the control environment of a growing Credit Union.

Key traits for the successful individual are: highly developed communication skills, team player, change agent, strategic and creative, excellent project management skills and the ability to drive performance from all areas within the company. 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or from accredited technical institution with supporting credentials may supplement traditional education pathway.  Must have a firm understanding of COSO standards.  Enterprise Risk Management, BSA/AML: 3 years (Preferred).

Loan Clerk - 
Cabrillo Credit Union is looking for a Loan Clerk to act as liaison between Loan Officers and Internal Staff to ensure proper flow of loan requests.  Qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting the Lending team with various duties including:

  • Loan audits
  • CPI insurance monitoring
  • Mortgage insurance monitoring
  • GAP/ MBP claims
  • Insurance Payoff’s
  • Managing impound disbursements: property tax and insurance
  • Loan extensions
  • FM corrections
  • Automatic payments set up
  • Completing loan tickets: due date changes, payoff demands etc…
  • Assisting in title perfection

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Lending Experience with CPI & Mortgage Insurance & GAP
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • Basic knowledge of California and Federal labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills

Staff Resource Specialist -

We are looking for an individual that enjoys stepping in where needed, and is easily adaptable to a change in location. This position will be responsible for covering all 4 branches for teller needs. Qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting in a branch setting.  Duties include, but not limited to the following:

  • Assist members by accurately completing their monetary transactions in a timely manner
  • Accurately and efficiently process deposits, payments, withdrawals, cash checks.
  • Interview for Consumer loans within established guidelines in order to provide efficient loan services to members.
  • Keep abreast of current products, procedures and services to find cross-selling opportunities.
  • Complete back office work in a timely and accurate manner in order to provide exceptional service
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times

Hourly Pay Range: $14.78-$18.47-$22.17
